1
Four face-down cards. Privately peek at two, then remember.
2
On your turn: draw, take discard (not Swap), match, or call Kivo.
3
Replace a card or discard what you drew. Matching shrinks your board.
4
Lowest total at showdown wins — unless someone hits Kamikaze.
Goal
Lowest score wins. Hand totals are the sum of remaining card values (0–13). Empty slots score 0. Kamikaze (exactly 12 · 12 · 13 · 13 on four occupied slots) wins the round automatically and scores 0 for that round.
Your cards
Each round starts with four face-down cards. Matching can shrink a board all the way to zero. Theme art is cosmetic — abilities and scoring stay the same.
Opening memory: look at two, then both go face-down again.
On your turn
Draw from the deck, take the visible discard (not when it is a Swap / 11–12), Match, or Call Kivo at the untouched start of the turn. A deck draw is private — replace one of your cards, discard the draw, or match it. Taking discard requires replacing a card.
Matching
Discard cards you believe match the top discard or your draw to shrink your board. Wrong cards fail the whole attempt — every selected board card is replaced blind and your turn ends. Successful match specials (7–12) grant their powers.
Power cards
When you discard a special (or successfully match your own), Use or Skip each power. Values 0–6 and 13 have no ability.
Peek
Privately look at one of your own cards.
Values 7–8
Spy
Privately look at one opponent card.
Values 9–10
Swap
Exchange any two face-down cards. Cannot be taken from the discard pile.
Values 11–12
Calling Kivo
At the start of your turn, before drawing or taking discard, you may Call Kivo. Everyone else gets one final turn, then hands reveal. If you called and are not a round winner, you take +10 on that round score.
End of round / scoring
Round score is hand total plus any Call Kivo penalty — except Kamikaze, which scores 0. Across rounds, lowest cumulative score wins.
